GSG’s Carbon-E Wins at the 2025 Hong Kong Green Fintech Competition

2025年09月16日

Hong Kong, September 2025 — Dingli Sustainable Data and Technology (GSG) is proud to announce that its flagship carbon management SaaS platform, Carbon-E, has been named one of the five winners at the 2025 Hong Kong Green Fintech Competition, organized under the Hong Kong Monetary Authority’s Green and Sustainable Finance Cross-Agency Steering Group initiative.

Selected from more than 140 entries representing 26 jurisdictions, Carbon-E received the Theme One Award: Sustainable Supply Chain and SMEs, recognizing its leadership in applying digital innovation to empower investors, enterprises, and value-chain partners to achieve measurable carbon reduction and ESG transparency.

Carbon-E fuses advanced carbon accounting, ESG analytics, and supply-chain visualization into a single cloud platform, helping organizations measure and manage emissions with accuracy, integrity, and traceability. Guided by the principle “Measured with Precision; Managed with Integrity; Every Ton of Carbon Matters,” Carbon-E addresses a critical challenge in industrial decarbonization — balancing suppliers’ confidentiality with customers’ and financiers’ demand for transparent, verified carbon data.

Using a secure data architecture and hierarchical permission system, Carbon-E allows each participant in the supply chain to share verified emission results without disclosing proprietary operational details. This innovation resolves a long-standing obstacle in value-chain decarbonization, building mutual trust between suppliers and clients while reinforcing the credibility of sustainability disclosures. The platform enables stakeholders across the financial and industrial ecosystem to align carbon reporting, financing mechanisms, and reduction targets with measurable outcomes.

The award was accepted on behalf of GSG by Ms. Mimi Chiu, Head of GSG’s Hong Kong Office, at the Green Fintech Symposium, which brought together over 500 bankers, regulators, and industry leaders. Presenting Carbon-E to the symposium audience, Ms. Chiu highlighted the importance of connecting transparent carbon data with financial decisionmaking. “This recognition affirms Carbon-E’s value as a trusted enabler of financial and environmental transparency,” she said. “We are proud to demonstrate how technology can empower both investors and SMEs to advance real, verifiable progress toward net-zero goals.”

The Hong Kong Green Fintech Competition serves as a leading platform to identify technologies driving sustainable finance and decarbonization. Carbon-E’s recognition underscores its role in bridging green innovation and financial governance, providing investors and corporate users with reliable frameworks for tracking performance, reducing risk, and facilitating cross-border compliance in carbon reporting.

This award marks a significant milestone in GSG’s effort to advance sustainable industrial transformation through data innovation. The company remains committed to expanding Carbon-E’s global reach, enabling more organizations to adopt precise, transparent, and trustworthy carbon management practices—because in sustainability, every ton of carbon matters.
